Six adults and six teens landed on an uninhabited planet, Maarieda. The planned settlement was a lifeboat to save the human species. Maarieda was the best exoplanet for settlement because it was the most Earth like in studies from Earth. It should be no surprise that other planets and moons have life just like simple life on Earth. If just one spore was caught up in the solar wind and landed on a planet with water it would start life there. Why not across the galaxy? Maybe life on Earth traveled here from another star system. They are often pictured without clothes because they are modest in thought and do not carry our impure thoughts, or so the mythology goes. Being tricksters, fairies are like humans, but are much more imaginative and motivated in their trickery. Imagination sets us free and inspires us to achieve our dreams. As in both current and classic fairy tales and folktales from all around the world, all sorts of magical creatures inhabit these tales. Magical things happen, in accordance with magical rules that are not arbitrary nor capricious.
This book shows fairies in our modern culture. They are highly intelligent and adaptive, much more than typical people. They are neurodivergent which basically means that their thought patterns are not average or typical. They have the minds of artists, inventors, and scientists. They are creative. We were all born artists, but then someone convinced many of us that we aren’t artists. The fairies here bring to the world new opportunities and new viewpoints.
